SHILLONG: Laban CC defeated Harisabha CC and Young Guns CC defeated Pinewood CC in Second Division league matches of the Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Grounds.
In the first match, Harisabha won the toss and elected to bat first, but only put up a score of 65 runs in 17.1 overs.
Uttam scored more than half of those runs in an innings of 37 while Sourav took 3-8 in four overs.
In reply, Laban scored 66-6 in 12.2 overs. Mark Laloo scored 36 off 33 balls while Bijay took 2-15.
In the second match, Young Guns made 91 runs for eight wickets in 15 overs after winning the toss. Junaid scored 33 while Nishan took 3-12.
In reply, Pinewood were restricted to 81-6 in 15 overs. Suraj scored 33 while Rikesh took 2-16.
