TURA: The second level training for micro observers was on Wednesday held at DRDA Conference Hall, here at the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex.

West Garo Hills District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Pravin Bakshi informed that out of the 407 polling stations in West Garo Hills, 144 are hypersensitive and out of which 100 were critical polling stations.

He said that 10 hypersensitive polling stations were in 57-Dalu constituency while the rest were in 56-Gambegre, 46-Phulbari and 47-Rajabala constituencies.

These polling stations have been identified because of the vulnerability to ethnic clashes, cases of clashes in the past and threat from militancy.
