TURA: In high spirits and happy over the successful and peaceful completion of the Annual Conference (Sobha) at Malangkhona, Joypur Baptist from February 6 to 10, the Garo Baptist Convention (GBC), Tura expressed their appreciation and gratefulness to the Rabha Community for allowing the delegates and visitors to pass through the Rabha areas during the bandh.The Convention also expressed their gratefulness to the Assam and Meghalaya Police and other departments for providing escorts for delegates and their contribution towards the success of the conference.GBC informed that during the Sunday Worship service, an announcement was also made to the congregation to participate in the ensuing election and give their conscience votes.
