Arms smuggler apprehended

SHILLONG: BSF troops of Mukamchera, deployed in East Khasi Hills apprehended one Indian arms smuggler identified as Dilwart Sangma (27) on Tuesday.

The arms smuggler was apprehended while he was trying to exfiltrate into Bangladesh from India. During the search, BSF sleuths recovered one revolver besides other items.

In addition, BSF troops of Meghalaya Frontier also seized liquor and contraband items of the estimated cost of Rs 125000.
