SHILLONG: West Shillong Congress candidate Mohindro Rapsang has skipped two of the common platform meetings which were organised in the constituency. In the first case, Rapsang was absent from the common platform meeting at Them Mawbah on Tuesday evening.
Sources revealed that the Congress candidate informed in the very last minute to the members of the Them Mawbah Dorbar Shnong on his inability to attend the meeting. It is learnt that both UDP candidate Paul Lyngdoh and independent candidate Donaldson Shanpru attended the meeting. Earlier on Monday, Rapsang also failed to attend the common platform meeting organised by the Lama Villa Dorbar Shnong.
