Notification
The District Administration of East Khasi Hills has informed that general people and vehicles will not be allowed to enter the JNSC on the counting day for the Assembly elections. All vehicles will be diverted to the parking lot from the first entrance near CRPF gate. No body will be allowed to carry mobile phone in counting hall.
Clarification
The District Transport Officer has clarified that there was no cash in those rooms where the fire accident took place and it is not a strong room but a store room. The DTO also clarified that daily cash transaction collected by the office is deposited in the bank the same day.
