Five houses gutted in Arunachal fire

Itanagar: At least five houses were gutted in a devastating fire at Hissam Colony in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh Monday night. The incident occurred around 2300 hours. The fire gutted the houses of Jomge Geyi, Mindo Bagra, Gumin Talom, Beli Nyorak and Soba Doyom. Two other nearby houses were partially damaged, sources informed here Tuesday. No casualty was reported. One person suffered minor burns. The district administration has provided immediate relief and the standing board is assessing detail assessment report for the damage caused by the fire, sources added. (UNI)
