SHILLONG: Two deputy chief ministers and three women ministers will be part of the Dr Mukul Sangma-led Congress government in the State.
The swearing-in ceremony of the Council of ministers will be held on Tuesday, a day after election of the Speaker.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi, had, on Saturday night cleared the list of 11 ministers consisting of two deputy chief ministers -Rowell Lyngdoh representing South West Khasi Hills and Prof Roytre C Laloo hailing from Jaintia Hills.
In a deviation from the previous MUA Cabinet, the Chief Minister has allotted Cabinet berths to three women legislators – Ampareen Lyngdoh, Deborah Marak and Roshan Warjri.
The fourth elected woman legislator Dikkanchi Shira, wife of the Chief Minister, did not find any place in the Cabinet.
HDR Lyngdoh, Prestone Tynsong and AL Hek, ministers in the previous government, will retain Cabinet berths.
The list also contains the names of Sniawbhalang Dhar from Jaintia Hills, Zenith Sangma, brother of the Chief Minister, and Clement Marak, both from West Garo Hills.
