In regards to the news item which appeared in ST on March 9 under the caption, ‘Seminar Workshop Book release, mark the celebration (International Women’s Day)’, the Meghalaya State Social Welfare Board has clarified that they had organised the function independently at Sajer community Hall, Nongpoh and not in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Officer, Nongpoh.
