Ronnie appointed Govt Chief Whip

SHILLONG: Congress legislator Ronnie V Lyngdoh was appointed as the Chief Whip of the Government on Monday.

The announcement was made by Pro tem Speaker Rowell Lyngdoh in the House.

The name of Lyngdoh was earlier doing the rounds for the Cabinet berth, but he missed the chance since there were too many aspirants.
