Complaint

lOne Shukla Baruah and four others lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on October 31, 2011, they joined Suraho Micro Finance as agents. On April 18, 2012, the company was taken over by Royal Infra Properties Ltd., Laitumkhrah, but the present company failed to pay the maturity payment to the customers.

lOne Arida Rumnong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that in October 2011, one Anwar Hussain took her motorcycle (ML-05H-8859) for personal use. However, in August 2012, she came to know that Anwar Hussain had mortgaged the documents of the motorcycle for Rs. 25,000 without her consent.

Theft

On March 31, unknown miscreants broke into the office of Goenka Engineering Works at Keating Road, Shillong and stole Rs 2 lakh.

Assault

One Mirinda Ryntathiang lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on March 30 at around 9 am, two persons, Bus Jyrwa and Khongtih Jyrwa, assaulted and wrongfully restrained her and her mother at Pynthorbah, Shillong.

Accident

On March 29 around 12 noon, one Tata Sumo vehicle (ML-06-4744) met with an accident at Photksew (SWKH). As a result, Dmiew Shylla (52) sustained injuries and later succumbed to her injuries. A criminal case has been registered in this connection.
