Threat

One Henry D Sangma lodged a complaint that he had been receiving SMSs from a mobile phone (No. 8014358361) which threatened him with dire consequences unless he provided pass marks to two SSLC Final Examination candidates bearing Roll Nos. 60332 and 60335.

Theft

Anfujul Islam lodged a complaint that on April 14 around 12:30am, unidentified miscreants (40-50) armed with lethal weapons, looted Rs 24,200 and gold ornaments valued around Rs 3,80,500 from the house of the complainant and his brother at Gorband village, West Garo Hills. The miscreants also took away an ATM card and driving license belonging to his brother.

Assault

On April 13 at around 3pm, unidentified miscreants (5-7) assaulted one Moyarul Islam (33) at Changon Nokat Road under Ampati police station, South West Garo Hills and looted Rs 15,000 and four mobile phones from him. The victim has been shifted to Ampati CHC.

Unidentified body

On March 24, one unidentified male person was found lying at Lawmali, Shillong, and shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong, where he died on April 4.
