SHILLONG: Miffed at the poor quality of the sound system in the House, Speaker AT Mondal had to adjourn the House for more than five minutes on Wednesday.

Home Minister Roshan Warjri’s reply on the functioning of the State Police was barely audible due to the defective sound system which was a source of constant irritation for the legislators.

As the House took the break, the defective microphones were hurriedly repaired.
