Kidnapper arrested

 JOWAI: Saipung Police assisted by Daboka Police, Nogaon, Assam arrested one of the six ‘kidnappers’ from inside Dabako reserve forest in Nogaon District, Assam on Wednesday.

Sources informed that a team of police from Saipung led by Sub-Inspector, B Marboh with the help of Assam Police from Dabako Police Station conducted an operation inside the Dabako reserve forest and arrested one of the kidnappers identified as Md. Abdul Kabir (26) while six others escaped.

Sources said that five of the kidnappers identified as Md. Abdul Wahid, Md. Nur Uddin, Md. Nazim Uddin, Majabur Rahman and Md. Mehrul Uddin all from Nogaon District, Assam escaped. “The Bolero which belongs to Ship Paslein was also recovered from the forest, sources added.
