Influx aside, KSU to focus on non-tribals

 NONGSTOIN: John Fischer Nongshiang, re- elected President of the Khasi Students’ Union West Khasi Hills District said that not only influx of outsiders, non- tribals in particular were their top priority.

Election to the KSU West Khasi Hills District was held on Monday at Pyndengrei St.Vianni Hall at Nongstoin. Out of the total 744 votes 99 were declared invalid.

While John Fischer Nongshiang retained the President’s seat, Wellesly Lyngkhoi was elected as the newly general secy, Armstrong Soshiang as assistant gen secy among others.
