NONGSTOIN: Anderson Higher Secondary School Nongstoin on Friday felicitated its students that passed their SSLC and HSSLC Examinations this year with flying colours. A total of 66 students were felicitated at the occasion, out of which 34 students appeared in the SSLC examinations and 32 in the HSSLC examinations.

In the SSLC examinations, all 34 students of the school passed with First Division and all students passed all subjects with distinction. Four of the students also secured positions in the top 20 of the State. In the HSSLC examinations, out of the 32 students, 9 secured First Division, 22 Second Division and 1 Third Division. One of the students secured position in the top 20 of the State.

Attending the function was L G Nongsiej MDC Nongstoin cum EM KHADC as the Chief Guest and S Diengdoh DSEO as the

Guest of Honour. Both of them handed out the mementos and cash awards to the successful students of the school. An amount of Rs 10,000 was given to the toppers and Rs 500 to the subject wise toppers.
