NONGPOH: The State Bank of India, Umsning Branch ATM machine was on Friday morning vandalized by some miscreants who also destroyed the machine in an attempt to take the money from machine but failed to do so.
According to Police sources, the unknown miscreants forcibly embarked into the campus of the Umsning branch SBI and also damaged the machine in an attempt to take the money.
It was informed that, the SBI staff noticed early in the morning that the machine was broken and damaged and soon informed the police and also lodged an FIR against the miscreants involved in the crime. The matter is still under investigation.
