BAGHMARA: The All Achik Youth Federation, Southern Zone, Baghmara in a bid to strengthen and expand the organization held a meeting recently at Dimapara under South Garo Hills. The meeting forming the AAYF Dimapara Regional Unit also elected its office bearers.
Briefing the gathering on the aims and objectives of the AAYF, General Secretary Bivash Marak appealed to the gathering to cooperate with the organization to further the interests of the people of the region.
During the meeting a sizeable number of youth enrolled themselves in the Federation. The elected members of the new regional unit are Mikseng D Sangma, president, Mojesh R Marak, vice president, Bitud T Sangma, general secretary, Jonni R Marak, assistant GS among other executive body members.
