Awareness programme
The National Sample survey Office (field operations division), Shillong will celebrate National Statistics Day in collaboration with the Directorate of Economics and Statistics on the theme ‘Labour and Employment statistics’ by organising an inter school debate competition cum awareness programme on June 29 at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah at 10am. Labour Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Workshop
The Taal Academy conducted a 15-day workshop in dance, fine arts and crafts at the complex of Cement Manufacturing Company Limited (CMCL), Lumshnong last month. The workshop was attended by more than 50 local children besides the children and staff of the company.
IGNOU
Last date for submission of filled in application form for all academic programmes offered under common prospectus of IGNOU has been extended till June 30 for July, 2013 session.
