SHILLONG: Two second half goals in a span of six minutes ensured Nangkiew’s win over Randajied in a league encounter of the U-19 Shillong Premiere League here on Saturday.

Rangdajied rode on a Gameliel goal to take the lead in the 6th minute. However, that was not enough to keep Nangkiew at bay.

Mebanshan helped level the scores for Nangkiew in the 55th minute with a tap into the goal. Six minutes later, Chesterpaul Lyngdoh took a neatly placed shot to beat rival Rangdajied custodian Sunshine for the match-winning goal.

Meanwhile, Nangkiew’s Chesterpaul Lyngdoh was sent off the field along with goalkeeper Sunshine (90″) and Pynkhrawbok following an act of indiscipline in the 90th minute.

The loss leaves Rangdajied in a tight spot while Nangkiew still have a chance of topping the points table.
