Body recovered
On June 25 at around 4:15 pm, one unidentified male body was recovered from Tongseng (EJH). Necessary formalities have been observed.
Theft
lOne Pynshngain S Syiem lodged a complaint that on June 25 at around 9 am, unknown miscreants stole the tyres of a Maruti car which was kept at his workshop at Fire Brigade, Shillong.

On June 25 at around 3:45 pm, unidentified miscreants abducted one J Narayan Rai (60), a Railway Supervisor from Tilapara / Bakenang (NGH). Search operations are on to rescue the abductee.

Torture
One Sirda Marngar lodged a complaint that on June 9 at around 3 pm, eight persons, Saiantis Marngar, Throsking Peinlang, Rington Lyngkhoi, Tieh Syiem Sangoi, Jorit Sohshang, David Sohshang, Spin Marngar and Bungrit Syiemlieh, forcibly took her and her husband, Losking Lyngkhoi in a vehicle to Sohwanthiang village (WKH) and tortured them the whole night alleging them of practicing witchcraft.
