Ibandalin Wanswett, has been awarded the PhD degree on Economics from NEHU for her thesis on Rural Non Farm Employment In North East India: A case study of Meghalaya under the supervision of Dr B Panda of the Department of Economics, NEHU. She is at present working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Economics, Synod College, Shillong. She is the daughter of Haperwell Phanbuh and Wainola Wanswett.
