JOWAI: Jowai Police in West Jaintia Hills arrested three youth for their alleged involvement in a recent dacoity case. They have been identified as Shibormi Lhuid (19), David Dhar (19) and Thnet Lhuid (19) all from Ialong village. According to the East Jaintia Hills SP Herbert G Lyngdoh, the trio committed dacoity on June 23 last.
On Tuesday night, with the help of the Ialong Rangbah Shnong and the former JSU President Elnathan Pale, the three came to surrender before Jowai Police.
