SHILLONG: The first Jackfruit Festival was inaugurated by Minister for Social Welfare Deborah C Marak amidst a huge gathering at Parade ground, Williamnagar on Thursday.
The festival is organized under the aeigis of the Meghalaya Integrated Basin Development & Livelihood Promotion Programme in collaboration with the district administration.
