Relief

The Postal Directorate, New Delhi has considered booking, dispatch and delivery of relief materials to Uttarakhand by post without charging postage. The facility is available in Shillong GPO and Tura HO upto July 20.

Reach Shillong Ministries has been chosen by the government as Specialised Adoption Agency for East Khasi Hills. Reach Shillong Ministries on Friday, formally inaugurated its adoption and other related activities in a simple function held at the Presbyterian Church India Conference Hall. RSM, also announced the launch of Cradle Baby Points at its centre at Lawei Ba Phyrnai Children Home, Umpling and at different hospitals and nursing homes for safe abandonment and rehabilitation of newborns.
