Commerce stream and IGNOU study centre inaugurated

 SHILLONG: An impressive Drum Ensemble for peace and prosperity organized by management, staff and students of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School at Mendal in North Garo Hills on Friday marked the opening of the Commerce Stream and IGNOU study centre in the institution.

On the occasion, the successful students of the school in the last SSLC and HSSLC examinations were also felicitated.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, Brigady N Marak, expressed hoped that with the opening of this centre at Mendal many young people of the area would now be able to pursue higher studies without having to go outside.
