Free eye check-up camp organised

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Youth Foundation in collaboration with Mission Trust, Bawri Netharalaya, Shillong and the NSS Unit of Holy Child HS School conducted a free eye check-up Camp at Mawber Village, East Khasi Hills District recently.

People from Mawber and Umsaw villages were the beneficiaries of the camp. Out of which, some beneficiaries were given free spectacles, some were referred for further Free Eye Medical assistance and some were even referred for Free Eye Surgery for Cataract patients.

Those present at the Camp included the Special guest Rev PBM Basaiawmoit, Chairman of the Meghalaya Youth Foundation, Joannes JTL Lamare, Dr. V Surong and her team of doctors from Bawri Nethralaya.
