Meeting
Association of Qualified Candidates, Grade IV 2011, East Khasi Hills would be holding its general meeting at National Dorbar Hall on August 3 at 11 am. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, association general secretary Skhemborlang Pyngrope has requested that all the members to attend the meeting to discuss on failure of the Directorate and Family Welfare to terminate all the backdoor appointments in the department.
Function
The Health and family welfare minister AL Hek will launch the Diabetic Retinopathy Management Project for the State on August 9 at Eldorado Guest House at Dhankheti. This programme is organised by Bansara Eye Care in collaboration with World Diabetes Foundation and Society for promotion of eye care and sight.
Camp
Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will flag off the free comprehensive eye and diabetes screening camp at MUDA Complex, 2nd floor Parking lot on August 10. Resgistration will start from 9am till 3pm.
