SHILLONG: GVK EMRI celebrated ERC Day (Emergency Response Centre) on Thursday by dedicating the day to the ERO (Emergency Response Officers) who play an important role in the entire process of handling emergencies.
The ERC is the department which senses the emergency when one dials the toll free number – 108. The GVK EMRI – Meghalaya Team organized a program to commemorate the day at the office premises, where awards were given to the best EROs for different categories.
The award for the Best ERO was handed to Alleanson Ch Sangma and Microlina Syiemlieh, Best call Average Handling Time to Alleanson Ch Sangma, Best Attendance to Ordinelle Laloo, Best Quality Score to Ibasngurshisha Dkhar, Best contribution in non productive hour to Microlina Syiemlieh and Best Outstanding Emergency Response Officer to Alleanson Ch Sangma.
