In continuance of the ‘Safe-Secure-Shillong’ project, East Khasi Hills Police in collaboration with St. Anthony’s College will organize an awareness programme for the students of the college on August 13 at 1 pm.

School fete

Sunderland Memorial Secondary School, Kench’s Trace, will organise a fete on August 23 and 24 at Community Hall, Madan Laban from 12 noon onwards for the purpose of raising funds for the school. Also, the date for the raffle draw scheduled on August 17 has been shifted to October 14.

No parking

The Lower Lumparing Dorbar Shnong has declared the Jackson Trace Road from the residence of Aitimon Myrthong upto the parking space of Raid Laban (Dhubighat) as a ‘No Parking Zone’ (day and night) with immediate effect. Dumping and throwing of waste along the road has also been strictly prohibited.

The Aesthetica Dental Department of Woodland Hospital outsourced to Aesthetica Dental Department, Kolkata, will be inaugurated by Health Minister AL Hek on August 17 at 11am.
