The Dorbar Grand Council of Chiefs of Meghalaya has expressed grief over the demise of Ma Lyngngong Snieh, the Dolloi Elaka Nongjngi in Jaintia Hills on August 25. Ma Lyngngong Snieh had been the Dolloi for more than 49 years (1964-2013) and in his service, he had contributed tremendously to the welfare of the Elaka and the district as a whole. The Dorbar Grand Council of Chiefs have extended their condolences to the family members of Ma Lyngngong Snieh.
