Community development programme

SHILLONG: A community development programme under the Shillong Diocese was conducted at Laitumkhrah on Wednesday in which solar machines, sewing machines and other livelihood items were distributed to hundreds of needy people.

The programme was inaugurated by Chairman of the Meghalaya Government Construction Corporation, Ronny V Lyngdoh, and South Indian Bank manager, Shillong branch, Naveen Parackl. Diocese secretary Rev. Sam Issac and other church leaders blessed the occasion.
