State Cabinet reshuffle next week

 NEW DELHI: Two Ministers will be replaced in what would be the first reshuffle of the State Cabinet since the Congress-led MUA II government came to power in March last.

Informing this here on Thursday, sources said the rejig is likely to take place next week.

One legislator each from Khasi-Jaintia and Garo Hills regions respectively will be inducted in the Cabinet.

At the same time, one minister each will be dropped from the two regions, sources said without divulging the names of the to be dropped ministers.

The swearing-in of new ministers will take place once Governor Dr K K Paul returns to Shillong next week.
