Memo submitted to Union Minister

SHILLONG: The All Garo Hills SSA LP and UP School Teachers Association recently visited the national capital to meet the Human Resource Development Minister M M Pallam Raju and submitted a memorandum to the Union Minister about various issues.

The association also raised the issue of regularisation of the salary of the teachers of SSA schools in Meghalaya, which is supposed to be initiated by the State Government in reality.

Although many years have passed by, the SSA teachers in Meghalaya have not been regularized in the service General Secretary, Windreyan T Sangma said.

The Association also held a prolong discussion with the Additional Secretary of Human Resource Development Brinda Swarup at Shastriya Bhawan New Delhi.
