Condemnation
The Shillong Hajong Welfare Society and the Shillong Hajong Students’ Union have condemned the incident in Garobadha village in Garo Hills in which miscreants killed three members of two families and injured one girl.
Freshers’ meet
Garo Students’ Union, Khasi Hills Zone, will organize a fresher’s meet for Garo students on September 21 at Anton Hall, Laitumkhrah, at 10 am.
Awards
The Raid Laban Sports Social and Cultural Organization will present its 10th literary awards on September 21 at U Soso Tham auditorium from 11 am. FR Kharkongor, Secretary, Education Department will be the chief guest. Altogether 300 students would be felicitated on the occasion.
