SHILLONG: The bandh on Friday has compelled Government to postpone the much awaited chief secretary-level meet on border dispute with Assam. The meeting was scheduled to be held on Friday here . Informing this, the State Chief Secretary WMS Pariat told reporters on Thursday that a delegation led by Assam Chief Secretary was supposed to come to Shillong for Friday’s meeting. Government considers that providing security to the Assam delegation will be risky in view of the bandh called by the pro-ILP activists.
