SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Softball Association men’s team will participate in the East Zone Softball Championship, to be held in Jharsuguda, Odisha, from September 27-29.
The Team will leave on Tuesday under the leadership of the MSA President SM Lyngdoh.
Although the Association has only received a small grant from the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, it has still been able to send a team to the championship.
Team: Healthy Marbaniang (capt), Treyo Lapasam, Pyrkhat Dkhar, Loren Dkhar, Echwa Phawa, Barister Kynter, Wankitboklang Syiemlieh, Homefair Wah-lang, Kitbok Nongplang, Antonio Rapsang, Brainy-star Thongni, Praiding Kharwar, Cheerful T Surong.
