Lawansuk Lyngdoh Tron has secured first class first position (Gold medal) in M.Sc. Rural Development and Agricultural Production 2013, from Tura Campus. She is the daughter of (L) Wadbor Swer and Streamlet Lyngdoh Tron of Nongkseh, Upper Shillong.

Sudipta Dey has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science for her thesis ‘Nutritive value of wild edible insects of Meghalaya’ under the supervision of Dr. D. Paul, Department of Environmental Studies, NEHU. She is the daughter of Ranadhir Dey and Sandhya Dey, residents of Laitumkhrah.
