SHILLONG: Qualapatty made their way to a comfortable 2-0 win over Umlyngka in their Third Division football match at Polo Grounds on Thursday.
The goal-scorers were Shembor Nongkhlaw (13th minute) and Kampher Nongkhlaw (45th).
Meanwhile, Nangkitbok Sawkmie scored a late 63rd minute goal to save Laitkor from defeat as they drew 1-1 with Marbisu.
Marbisu’s Dinalson Malniang scored an early ninth minute goal to put his side into the lead before Laitkor’s 63rd minute equaliser.
In another Third Division match, Nongrah got one better over Nongrim Hills with Finestorwell Bina scoring the match-winning goal in the 31st minute.
Friday will see another three Third Division matches played at Polo Grounds.
In the first, Nongsohphoh will clash with Nongmynsong at 12:15pm.
Mawkriah West then take on Mawryngkneng at 2pm.
Later, Rynjah and Lummawbah will be involved in the final match of the day, which will begin at 3:45pm.
