SHILLONG: The Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong has blamed the Government for the stalemate on the issue of implementation of ILP in the State which has resulted in the prevailing lawlessness and disorder in the State.

“The blunt rejection of the Government to the ILP demand had resulted to agitations which not only made the common people suffer but also created a fear psychosis among them,” President of the Synjuk, TR Shanpru, said.

The Synjuk has expressed disappointment over the turn of events and has regretted the fact that the Government is taking to the path of confrontation.

The Synjuk asked the Government to immediately find solution to the impasse and to avoid unwanted and unpleasant situations.

The Synjuk, further, warned that the Dorbar Shnong would not cooperate or take responsibilities in case of any fallout arising out of the confrontation.
