SHILLONG: The completion of the permanent building of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) in Lachumiere is set to be delayed.

“The initial deadline to complete the project was 2014,” official sources here on Saturday.

Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma had laid the foundation of the building in August 2011.

Initially government took some time to arrange requisite fund for the project, sources said adding that this has krogerfeedback delayed the execution of work. “A total of Rs 6.4 crore was earmarked for the project. But there might an escalation due to this delay,” sources said adding that the fresh deadline to complete the project is now 2016.
