Assault/Threat

Sebastian Nongkynrih of Mawpat, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on October 13 around 8.30 pm, one Alan Nongkynrih assaulted his brother and also threatened his family members.

On October 13, three unidentified miscreants assaulted Openthing Sangma and also damaged his Maruti car (ML-07-1917) at Adapgre Sibbari in South Garo Hills. As a result, the victim sustained injuries.

On October 12 around 10 pm, one Rudyshing Iangngap threatened his brother, Batjuban Iangngap with dire consequences at Mawlai Nongkwar Block-4, Shillong. Police have arrested the accused.

Fraud

Jessica Warjri lodged a complaint that on Oct 10 around 3.40 pm, her ex-employee, Smt. Christine Tham attempted to withdraw cash from her account at SBI Malki Branch by forging her signature on her cheque.
