Admin announces change in traffic arrangements

SHILLONG: The Shillong Traffic Police has made some rearrangements in certain places in the city with effect from October 19, to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
According to a release issued by the STP, no-parking has been imposed from Last Stop till Surian Hotel on the right side of the road, while parking will be allowed on one side of the road from Harrison Bridge along Kench’s Trace Road to Last Stop.
The police have also imposed no parking along the stretch from Last Stop to Circuit House, while the Oxford Hill road has been declared a two-way road. However, no vehicles will be allowed to park along this stretch.
Meanwhile, the STP informed that no entry imposed at Civil Hospital junction will be lifted from Sunday.
