Drug peddlers arrested

On October 31 at around 1:30 am, Police arrested three drug-peddlers, Atanu Deb (30), Prosenjit Ghose (30) and Rajesh Debnath (28) from Down Gate, Nongpoh (RB) and also recovered 1805 bottles of Phensydyle syrup (100 ml each) from their possession. They were proceeding to Agartala from Kolkata in a Tata Sumo vehicle (TR-01AK-0714).

Assault

lOn October 31 at about 9 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Chealsea Thangkhiew (35), June Dkhar (56), Philling Lyngdoh Tron (38) and Mister Lyngdoh (35) at Lumdiengjri. As a result, the victims sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong.

lOne Pouriangpliu Gangmei lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on October 30 at around 8 pm, Samuel Sangtan (22) manhandled her and also threatened her with dire consequences at Chun’s Home Hostel, Laitumkhrah. Police arrested the accused.

Theft

lOne Nilish Kumar Jabiawala lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on October 29, his employees, Asraful Ali and Nur Muhammad stole machineries valued around Rs. 23,000 from his shop at Thana Road, Shillong.

lPankaj Yadav of DGAR Laitkor lodged a complaint at Madanryting PS that unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 37,882 from his account.

Threat case

lOne Dipankar Choudhury lodged a complaint at Laban PS that one DK Prasad had criminally trespassed and also threatened him with dire consequences, at Bishnupur, Shillong.

lOne Monika Kharumnuid lodged a complaint at Mawlai PS that her son, Yaldonald Kharumnuid, created trouble and also threatened the family members with dire consequences at Mawtawar Umjarain, Shillong.

Kidnapping case

A woman lodged a complaint that on July 28, Dipankar Rabha kidnapped her daughter, from Mawiawban village (WKH).
