JOWAI: Assistant Teachers in Jaintia Hills have threatened to resort to a series of agitational programs if the Government decided to terminate them from their job based on the alleged appointment Scam 2010 within the Education Department.
“How can the Government terminate our appointment when we are all qualified for the job. We have completed our State Eligibility Test (SET), we have passed all Interviews and have been in the service since 2010”, said a release issued here.
The release stated that more than 300 teachers in Jaintia Hills appointed in 2010 would be affected if the government decided to terminate their posts.
