Rs 7.5 lakh ex-gratia for slain policemen

SHILLONG: The families of five slain policemen will be provided with Rs 7.5 lakh each, besides special family pension.

Home Minister Roshan Warjri on Friday informed that the Government will follow the standard form of ex-gratia compensation which is payment of Rs 7.5 lakh each to the victim’s family.

Warjri said the family members of the slain police personnel would be provided with full pension.
