Bangladeshi national nabbed

On November 9 at about 8.35 am, residents of Dona village (EJH) apprehended one Bangladeshi national viz., Md. Nurul Amin (38), who entered India without valid documents.

Theft

Madan Gopal Saha lodged a complaint at Baghmara PS that on November 8 at about 4.45 pm, unidentified Bangladeshi nationals numbering 10 to 12 armed with machete forcibly took away his motorcycle (ML-09A-4285), while he was proceeding from Gasuapara towards Dalu at Bekamara, Border Road (SGH).

On the night of November 8, unknown miscreants broke into a wine shop of one Marc Simon Marak at Soil Bazar (EGH) and stole IMFL valued around Rs. 10,000.

On November 4, unknown miscreants stole one TV set and cash Rs. 4,000 from the residence of one Bhanumati Basumatary at Nongrim Hills.

S Choudhury, Asst. Manager of Commercial Sterling and Wilson Pvt. Ltd., lodged a complaint at Laban PS that unknown miscreants broke into the storeroom of the company at Baniun (EKH) and stole materials valued around Rs. 9,46,749.

Shooting case

On November 8 at around 8 pm, one Dingnen Marak shot at Tengbath N. Marak at Dobu (EGH). As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to a hospital in Guwahati. After the incident, the accused fled away leaving behind his Maruti Alto (AS-01X-6939). Police seized the vehicle.

Assault

On November 6 at around 1 pm, one Phira Sten assaulted Stophi Bhoi and also threatened him and his family members with dire consequences at Mukhroh village (WJH).

On October 23 at around 9.30 am, two persons — Sevenson D. Sangma and Simbal Ch. Marak assaulted Helwith A. Marak at Anangpara (SWGH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries.

Domestic violence

Gopa Dutta lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on October 5, Renu Devi Dutta, Bijoya Dutta Rajkhowa and Hiranya Rajkhowa abused and tortured her in the house of her in-laws at Rehabari, Guwahati. They also threatened her with dire consequences.

Wanted

The Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills has informed that Asraful Ali and Nur Mohammed are wanted in connection with Shillong Sadar PS case.
