GVK EMRI receives Skoch award

SHILLONG: GVK EMRI 108 service was announced winner of the Skoch Award in Health category at a special function organized at the 34th Skoch Summit in New Delhi on November 12.

GVK EMRI was conferred Skoch Platinum Award for Corporate Excellence and outstanding contribution to the cause of Nation Building.

The Awards were given away by Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, and the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia amidst a huge gathering of distinguished dignitaries.

GVK EMRI qualified amongst India’s Best-2013 and was nominated for its significant corporate contribution to India’s growth post liberalization.

It was a moment of pride when Chidambaram and Montek Singh Ahluwalia expressed deep appreciation of the life saving work of GVK EMRI which is giving citizens across 16 states in India a right to safety during any emergency.

K. Krishnam Raju, Director of GVK EMRI, on this occasion said “I am deeply honored to receive this award on behalf of the 25,000+ individuals of GVK EMRI who have dedicated themselves to 108 services. GVK EMRI will take 108 services across every corner of India and continue with the noble mission of saving lives.”
