Arson attack victim recuperating

SHILLONG: The condition of Bisheshwar Das, who was set on fire by miscreants inside his tea stall at Bishnupur locality on November 16, is recovering, albeit at a slow pace, at Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati.

CMD of Nemcare Hospital, Dr Hitesh Baruah, on Wednesday informed that the patient was gradually recovering but full recovery might take another month.

Das had sustained 45 per cent burn injuries, which is considered severe for any burn victim.

Meanwhile, eleven days after the incident, police have not been able to make any arrest in the case, even though they are claiming to have obtained some leads in the case.
