Lam Jingshai Youth Centre opens formally

SHILLONG: The Lam Jingshai Youth Centre was formally opened as a part of the Presbyterian Church of Pohksheh during a function held here on Saturday.

The Centre which will facilitate the youth to organize various activities was inaugurated by Pastor in charge of Presbyterian Church of Pohksheh, Rev. G.S. Umwi.

The inauguration was followed by the felicitation of 23 octogenarian church members.

Church elder, P S Keri informed that the youth centre building was erected on 9,853 sq. feet of land at the church premises at the cost of over Rs.2 crore.

“The Youth Centre has a library, prayer room, hall, computer rooms, dormitory and rooms for guests,” Keri said.
